Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel felt like being in a tree house built into the side of the mountain, surrounded by exotic birds and monkeys. The rooms were comfortable with AC and a hot shower, a rare find in Costa Rica, and the adjoining patio and kitchenette offered extra convenience, though missing a few specified items. The service was friendly and helpful, even during our short absence, with lovely owners and cute onsite pets. The location, while not as close to the pool, still provided a nice balance of nature and town accessibility. The dining experience, although delayed on two occasions, served delightful breakfast options despite a limited selection. Overall, an enjoyable stay with a touch of nature's charm.
I stayed at Las Cascades on Feb 29, 2020. The hotel satisfied our needs and was mostly issue-free. The rooms were clean, and it was quiet since there was only one other person staying there during my visit. The location was up a big hill, about 20 minutes to Manuel Antonio by car.
My stay at the hotel was a dream with its unique rooms nestled in the treetops offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding nature. The presence of wildlife like Macaws, toucans, and monkeys outside was a true highlight. However, the outdoor living room/kitchen shared with a neighboring room might not be for everyone.
